Dorothee Oberlinger

Recorder

Acclaimed reviews and major prizes have accompanied the career of the musician, who was born in Aachen in 1969 and is one of the leading figures in historically informed performance practice. As a recorder player, she performs worldwide with the best ensembles. She also works as a conductor and artistic director - and is head of the Institute for Early Music in Salzburg.

Evgeny Sviridov

Violin

Born in St. Petersburg in 1989, Sviridov studied violin at the local conservatory. Even as a student, he won prizes at prestigious competitions, including the Yehudi Menuhin in Cardiff and Premio Paganini in Genoa. From 2018 to 2022, Sviridov taught baroque violin at the University of the Arts Bremen. Since 2017, he has performed increasingly frequently and prominently as a soloist.

Anna Dmitrieva

Violin

The violinist, who trained in her home city of St. Petersburg, Cologne and Salzburg, founded the piano trio Alterna, with which she won 2nd prize and a Beethoven Prize at the "Beethoven in his time" competition in Siegburg in May 2021. She has recorded numerous CDs for the renowned labels Pentatone, Outhere and Alpha.

Gabrielle Kancachian

Viola

The Cologne-based Australian musician is a versatile artist who graduated from the Cologne University of Music with a degree in violin and viola. She has participated in award-winning CD productions and has performed with Concerto Köln and Anima Eterna, among others. Gabrielle performs at international festivals and in prestigious concert halls such as the Elbphilharmonie.

Marco Testori

Born in Como in 1970, Marco Testori learnt to play the piano, organ and cello at a very early age. He works with numerous ensembles specialising in baroque music. Marco Testori has performed in the world's most important concert halls and has been Professor of Baroque Cello at the Mozarteum University Salzburg since October 2013.

Kit Scotney

Double bass

Since his studies in London and Vienna, Kit Scotney has conducted a perfect dialogue with the audience through the moving sound language of music. The British double bassist demonstrates his ingenious polyphony in renowned German ensembles such as the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra and the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen.

As a celebrated basso continuo specialist, Olga Watts elegantly takes us into the world of early music. On the harpsichord, the native Muscovite causes a sensation as a soloist and chamber musician as far afield as Australia.
