Advent Salon at Palais Attems

The tea will be steaming and the biscuits will smell delicious as we settle in for a cosy Advent Salon at Palais Attems. We open the doors to a place far removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, where time can stand still, if only for a moment. We’ll be swept away by the gentle voice of storyteller Christiane Willms as she takes us into the fantastical world of E. T. A. Hoffmann’s The Nutcracker and the Mouse King. At the piano, Larisa Rojnić and Vincent Ling will accompany us on this enchanting journey, playing four hands and immersing us in the magical, sugar-sweet soundscape that Tchaikovsky imagined for the tale eighty years later.
