About the artist
EXPERT FOR EASTERN SOUNDS
The guitarist, singer and composer was born in Syria in 1987 and landed in Austria after a stopover in Turkey to study musicology in Graz. With his project Al-Nabati, Ali Asaad brings his own compositions to the stage, which stand as a metaphor for ancient Arab and Semitic civilizations, inspired by Eastern instruments, but also for a journey through Europe and the East.
