Matthias Bartolomey belongs to a Viennese dynasty of cellists and is likewise renowned for his unconventional crossover projects with the Duo BartolomeyBittmann. He loves the incalculable side of versatility of strings: groovy or dreamy, sensuous or sensational. At the Mozarteum University in Salzburg he has founded his cello sextet, “CelloVersum” – a universe of cello sound.
The performance lasts 60-70 minutes without an interval.
