Travel with Antonín Dvořák

Antonín Dvořák loved trains, ships and everything related to travel. In just 36 hours the express train brought him from New York to Iowa, where he spent an unforgettable summer with his family. In the “American String Quartet” he captured for posterity the atmosphere of that time. His children also found a lot to interest them in the USA, from dancing indigenous peoples to the world exhibition in Chicago. Graz actor Christoph Steiner and violinist Maria Kubizek combine words and sounds to create an intimate “Symphony from the New World”.
