Content

cosmos of the freedom movement pop songs

It was one of the most spectacular happenings in the history of pop music: on 1st June 1969, John Lennon and Yoko Ono invited people to join them in singing the song “Give Peace a Chance” in their hotel room in Montreal. The ideals of the Hippie movement have probably never been better expressed than on that occasion. POPVOX delves into the cosmos of the freedom movement pop songs and interprets the hits from the sixties to today in a new way that is unmistakably their own.
